Employees of BMG Rentals attended the National Association of Residential Property Management (NARPM) State Conference in Salt Lake last month where they received further training about the new changes to property management rules and regulations! Recently, the Real Estate Division has clarified the rules to Trust accounting and what
duties a property management assistant can perform.
Employees attended conference sessions to learn about, what Utah renters are looking for, government affairs and legal compliance issues, 25 Utah laws that affect property management companies, internet marketing for property management companies and new options in technology for property managers!
During one breakout session, L. Paul Smith, Executive Director of the Utah Apartment Association, discussed the breakdown of different types of rental units in the Utah Rental Market. He said that Utah has more single family homes for rent compared to the national average. Utah County is home to some of the top growing cities in Utah State. Lehi and Saratoga Springs are in the top 5.
